It starts at our manufacturer, picking only the highest quality materials to use on our chutes. Our trained professionals offer a stress-free install to make the turn over process more fluid.

Founder

Joe Ramos

I actually got started in the construction industry designing and building playground equipment and recreational toys for children. As a father of grown children and a grandparent of five grandchildren(The company name comes from my eldest granddaughter, Evelyn), I prioritize giving back to organizations that benefit children. After California reduced funding for playgrounds, I switched to a specialty trade contractor that installs chutes and other metal products. I started out working at a company in sales, quickly moving up to manager then superintendent. When the company changed direction, I left and the clients followed. Within the next few years I decided to start Evelyn’s Construction Services.

Alice Ramos

I’ve been involved in construction all my adult life. I worked in the same office as Joe as a front desk clerk, later moving up to project coordinator. I got a Bachelors in Business Accounting to pursue a job as a personal accountant. Joe left the company and I started work at an accounting firm, doing his books in my free time. I became more hands on as business increased at Evelyns. Started out product purchasing, soon after handling estimates and take-offs. Being a newly started business, we didn’t have the means to hire employees. Our journey began when I committed to making the business thrive. While joe remained the face and reputation of the company, I became the framework. Making sure every project was finished without a hitch.
